Melony currently serves as Executive Director for a Mental Health Counselling Center in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Prior to that, she was Executive Director for a Crisis Pregnancy Center in the same city. Her work began in a volunteer capacity where her attention was focused on Post Abortive Recovery. Her personal journey through abortion, sexual abuse, and adoption has given her great insight into these areas. She has helped hundreds walk through the painful process of emotional and spiritual healing and she has spoken to thousands of students. Through her work, she was one of the first women to address delegates at the United Nations in 2006 and 2007 at a workshop on Post Abortive Grief. Melony has also traveled to Zambia and Uganda, sharing her life story and working with orphans. Her story has been featured throughout the media. She is passionate about helping people recognize the emotional wounds that hinder the joy in their lives.
